There are many reasons to use Skype for your business, and it’s not all phone calls and video conferences, 9 out of 10 times when I use Skype its just using the chat function, that way you can send files back and forward, links, pictures and more, but of course the option is always there to talk or video call the other person.
If your just starting out, working from home maybe and need to be able to take business calls but separate them from your home and mobile calls, Skype is an awesome way to do it, you can even register a local phone number with the area code of your nearest city. How do you integrate Skype into your WordPress blog?
It’s actually really simple, there’s a great WordPress plugin called Contact Call Plugin, all you need to do is install that plugin, enter your Skype name and your email address and a call button will sit nicely on the edge of your blog or website. I use this for Socialize Media, which is my social media training business in Devon, UK, where we help and support local business to use social media in their marketing.
